LyftKaro ("we", "us") provides a private, referral-based carpooling platform for members in Pakistan. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information we collect • Account details: phone number, name, profile photo, and optional profile fields you provide • Trip and matching data: routes, pickup and drop-off points, bookings, and in-app messages related to a Lyft • Location: precise location while you use the app to find or offer nearby Lyfts and show your position on the map • Verification data: vehicle and identity photos you submit when offering Lyfts • Device and notifications: device identifiers needed to deliver push notifications you enable • Support communications: messages you send to support@lyftkaro.com or through contact forms
2. How we use information We use this information to operate the service, match members, verify hosts and vehicles, provide safety tools, send OTPs and service alerts, improve reliability, and comply with law.
3. Sharing We do not sell your personal data. Limited contact or trip details may be shared with a matched peer for that Lyft only. We may use processors (hosting, messaging, analytics) under contracts that protect your data. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect safety.
4. Retention and your choices We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can update profile details in the app, manage notification preferences, and request account closure from Profile → Close my account.
5. Children LyftKaro is intended for users who meet our minimum age requirement (16+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
